Social

The Arthur Square Class of Instruction enjoys a wide and varied range of social activities, and has done for over 30 years. Throughout the class programme we have our quarterly nights when after an hour of labour in the class we retire for supper. We usually have a few singers and recently we have introduced a small table quiz.

The class has been holding a ladies night in the Hall for many years and this has always been a great success. The ladies receive a gift, a free ballot and a few games of bingo. The meal served has always been a hit consisting of a buffet meal and deserts.

Our annual trips to Scotland is enjoyed by a large number of Brethren. The talk as we start the 2016/2017 programme is a possible battlefields tour, enquiries are already being made.

The Class will celebrate 100 years of labour in 2016, this will be a cause for some special celebrations, more on this matter later.
