Grand Lodge of Instruction

The Grand Lodge of Instruction is responsible for the ritual and ceremonies of craft masonry, in the Irish Constitution. All decisions taken by The Grand Lodge of Instruction on these matters and confirmed by Grand Lodge is binding on all Lodges under the Irish Constitution.

The Grand Lodge of Instruction meets twice a year in Dublin. These are closed meetings when only those entitled to attend will be present. Open communications are held in Dublin and Belfast, at these meetings a Lodge or a Class will exemplify a degree or other Masonic ritual. Questions may be asked and these will be answered by the Grand Secretary if in Dublin or the Assistant Grand Secretary in the Northern Provences.

Brethren attending the open communications must be Master Masons. Directors of Ceremonies and those interested in degree work will find the meetings very informative and we would encourage your attendance.
